Reflections Report on LIDW26: Tradition, trust and transformation in international dispute resolution

LIDW26 once again brought the international dispute resolution community together in London for a week of discussion, debate and collaboration. This year’s theme – “Tradition, trust and transformation in international dispute resolution” – encouraged a comprehensive examination of how long-standing legal frameworks must embrace evolution in an era defined by rapid technological advances, profound geopolitical realignments and economic volatility.

Our annual Reflections Report reviews the convergence of almost 12,000 dispute resolution experts from 129 jurisdictions, both virtually and in person, with nearly 33,000 registrations for events throughout the week.

This report captures not only the key themes and highlights of the week, but also the energy, ambition and commitment of a legal community dedicated to shaping the future of international dispute resolution.

We look forward to bringing the global dispute resolution community together in London once again for LIDW27, from 7 to 11 June 2027.
