What this session will cover

This panel will explore interim measures which are available to support (or undermine) international arbitrations: from steps which can be taken prior to commencement through to the production of the award, and beyond.

This event will focus on construction / commercial arbitrations and should be of interest to practitioners from a wide variety of practice areas.

The panel will consider ancillary measures available to parties alongside arbitration proceedings. It will look at pre-emptive measures, such as anti-suit injunctions and emergency arbitrator appointments, which can be taken in anticipation of arbitration, as well as measures which are available during the arbitral process, such as injunctions to restrain bonds, preservation of documents, or provision of security etc.
