What this session will cover
International sanctions are often assumed to spare the Global South. The reality on the ground, however, tells a different story. This event will explore the complexities of sanctions implementation, exploring the impact of nexus, secondary sanctions, and contractual obligations. We will also consider recent regulator guidance on mitigating the risk of sanctions breaches and avoiding enforcement action.
