What this session will cover
A panel featuring practitioners involved in a number of the most significant restructuring plans in recent years, who will discuss recent decisions, key emerging themes and give their perspective on the key factors that drive success.
A broad ranging and interactive panel discussion on key strategic issues when dealing with a contested restructuring plan, such as the need for:
- robust case management, with disputed issues identified early in proceedings;
- determining the most likely relevant alternative;
- expert evidence which addresses the competing demands of expedited timetables and CPR 35 compliance;
- managing parallel contested processes;
- due consideration of settlement offers / options;
- understanding the impact / risk of appeals; and
- other factors which will drive success in securing or challenging restructuring plans.
