LCIA International Arbitration Symposium

4 June 2025 | 12:30 - 15:30
London International Disputes Week
  • Spaces: 120
  • Venue: Two Temple Place, Temple, London, WC2R 3BD

What this session will cover

This event will invite leading trade and construction law specialists and construction industry experts to consider geopolitical and economic impacts on international projects, including the effects of tariffs, trade-wars and rising protectionism and cover mitigating risks and managing disputes.

The LCIA is hosting an afternoon symposium in the flagship LCIA Tylney-style format. This interactive discussion will provide an opportunity for delegates to share news and views on developments in international commercial arbitration and dispute resolution.

Symposium format
Delegates will be contacted and invited to submit topics for discussion in advance and, at the event, will be encouraged to participate in a free-flowing discussion of the topics submitted, under the expert guidance of the Co-Chairs. Similar to the biannual LCIA Flagship LCIA Symposia at Tylney Hall, the number of participants will be limited to preserve the format and places at the event allocated following an application process.

The seminar will be held under the Chatham House Rule to facilitate an open and honest discussion.

The language of the seminar will be English and there will be no charge to attend.

Application process
If you wish to join this symposium, please apply via the LCIA website by adding your details to the application form by Thursday 27 March.

Please note that in allocating delegate places we seek to ensure a diverse mix of attendees; experience, first-time and frequent attendees, nationalities and gender.

Who should attend?
Arbitrators, in-house counsel, practitioners, academics and members of the international business community interested in, and affected by, current developments and best practice in the field of international arbitration and dispute resolution.
