What this session will cover

Elections 2024: with a victory for Modi & the BJP almost certain, political continuity is effectively assured, at least at the national level.

Economy 2024 (and beyond): with macro political continuity, India is likely to continue enjoying its economic growth story, attracting even more interest from private investors (with the added boost that many firms continue to hedge against their China exposure).

  1. Legal implications: will there be further aperture of the Indian legal market to foreign firms? Or will the status quo be maintained?
  2. Disputes implications: with more interest and capital flowing into India, but the ongoing operational complexities, are we likely to see a growing number of disputes? And if so, what are the best routes to resolution?
