What this session will cover

The public international law disputes session will bring together leading academics and practitioners to debate key issues of public international and its interplay with English law.

Panel 1:

  • The contribution English law and English lawyers have made to the development of international law
  • How English courts approach international law
  • The promulgation of international tribunals and the role of English law and English lawyers

Panel 2:

  • Business and human rights in international context
  • UK as rule and policy maker in PIL
  • Promoting rule of law through international law
